Inexpensive and low in calories (about 70), one egg is packed with protein and contains iron, numerous vitamins such as A, many B vitamins like folic acid, choline and biotin. And they have one of the highest protein to calorie ratios! And they are good for you!

Like most foods, cooking eggs does destroy some of the nutrients. The way to get the best nutrients is to cook lightly. Never eat them raw!
